The ZOOM B2 Multi-Effects Pedal is a multifaceted practice, recording, and performance tool for bass. Combining multiple effects, 13 modeled bass tones based on the best amps and cabinets ever made, and a built-in drum machine, the B2 gives you great bass tone in any situation.

A combination of 24-bit/96 kHz sampling and 32-bit signal processing gives your bass the power and clarity to punch through the mix, whether live or on disc. Any frequency that gets away from you can easily be reined in using either the six-band linear equalizer or the two-band parametric EQ.

The history-making sounds that are faithfully modeled in the B2 include famous amps and infamous stomp boxes, a tube pre-amp, and a bass synth. If the bass sound you're after has rocked the world at one time or another, it's in here. Augmenting these classic sounds are a massive suite of 47 effects, nine of which can be used simultaneously.

To make live performance seamless, the B2 features an extremely fast 8ms switchover time when changing patches. This, combined with extremely quiet operation and ease of editing, make the modeled tones and effects as easy to work with as they are to listen to. And when it's time to woodshed, the built-in tuner and drum machine streamline the process, so you can use your time practicing instead of setting up and breaking down.

Encased in a high-quality metal chassis with rubber damping, the B2 delivers versatile, high-quality features and construction with the attention to detail demanding bassists expect.

• 13 Amp Models
The amp models programmed into the B2 represent a Bass Tone Hall of Fame. From fat Motown sounds to hi-fi tube pre-amps to grungy metal sounds, it's a definitive collection of classic tones.
• 47 Effects
Designed specifically to complement the modeled amp tones, this full (and then some) array of effects includes popular bass effects like compression, chorus, and two types of EQ, but also a selection of reverbs and delays, several useful synth bass effects, and an excellent noise-reduction unit that keeps the unit whisper-quiet when you're not making music.
• High-Resolution Sound
A combination of 24-bit/96 kHz sampling and 32-bit signal processing yields a precisely faithful rendition of your playing. All the harmonics and overtones are there.
• Integrated Drum Machine
A built-in rhythm generator with 40 preset patterns makes practice fun as well as simple, and you can vary the tempo three ways: by tapping the Tap Tempo button, manually with the edit knob, or by plugging in the optional (Model FS01) footswitch and tapping out the beat.
• Precision Electronics
The B2 was made with attention to detail. The unit is extremely quiet, with a -100dB noise floor and a 120dB signal-to-noise ratio. The time between patches is only 8 milliseconds, and there is of course a built-in chromatic tuner.
• Solid Metal Chassis
Built to gig as well as practice and record, the B2 is housed in a rugged metal enclosure with external and internal rubber damping to protect the electronics.
