More than a performance synthesizer, the R3 is an audio workhorse. The vocoder allows Formant Motion recording to recreate complex vocoder effects without relying on the microphone input. External audio processing, powerful arpeggiation and Modulation Sequencing open the door to complex groove creation. The scribble-strip displays provide accurate editing information. Amplifier Drive, Waveshaping, Virtual Patching and Motion Record open the door to powerful synthesis techniques. Built-in effects (both insert and master), two-band EQ and the Pitch and Mod wheels deliver a finishing touch. Plug-in/Stand-alone editing software is included. Thirty-seven full-size velocity sensing keys allow inspired performances.
