Q and A

Phantom Power - Posted by: G on 6/22/2012
Will this product work with phantom power? I have two mikes that use phantom power that I'd like to combine.
RE: Phantom Power - Posted by: Joel Bouchillon on 6/22/2012
Hey G, Good news, I just tested the AT8681 using (2) condenser mics. I plugged the output of the AT8681 into one of mic inputs of a Mackie board and Mackie supplied the 48v to the (2) condenser mics plugged into the AT8681. OH..BTW, the AT8681 requires phantom power to operate...meaning, even if you were just to use (2) dynamic mics, you would still need phantom power to power the AT8681. Current as of today (6/22), I have (5) AT8681 combiners in-stock and ready to ship. Please contact me when your ready to order. Thanks Again, Joel Bouchillon All Pro Sound 800-925-5776 joel@allprosound.com
