Comments:
I needed a low cost mic to use in a talent showcase because I knew from experience that it would get a lot of abuse. I bought two of these and have used them for 4 events over a 2 year period. They have worked great! They sound a little thin flat but you can easily fix that with channel eq. They have had over 400 users and the only trouble i had with them was that on very young children it was difficult to adjust the ear clip small enough for it to be stable-it did work though. I am replacing one because I sold one of them. Great mic for the money.

I have owned 10 of these since Jul 2009. I have done 5 plays and musicals and a few small school vocal concerts with them. I have had 4 of the wires short out at the transmitter pack end. There is a 3 year warranty on them so I have just sent them in for replacements. I would recommend getting a few replacement cables for back up if you purchase this. The sound quality is excellent with talking or singing. Some actors I put a small piece of clear medical tape on the mic next to their ear to assure that they wont come off.

Comments:
I used seven of the Audio-Technica version in a high school production last fall. They worked great for our purposes; only complaint: the metal wire that makes up the mic may be a little too soft. After a week of heavy use (high schoolers bending it quite a bit) one mic wire snapped. I will replace it though, these mics are worth it.

Great mic for the money. I compared these with a countryman E6 and they sound a little thin-but easy to correct with the tone controls. I used two for a talent showcase with 100 contestants on three occasions and both have survived with no problems. I also have a pastor using one and he likes it. Great mic-even better price!

Feedback - Posted by: Jim on 5/22/2011 |
| I am looking for a mic to use where the house speakers are in back of me. Will this be a problem or is the gain before feedback sufficient to be able to use this mic. Also, does this mic provide good response for singing applications as well as speech? |
RE: Feedback - Posted by: Mark Ellis on 5/23/2011 |
| Thank you for your question! The LIZ PRO is an omni-directional head-worn microphone. It is more likely to feedback when in use with your type of situation. However, with proper EQ and gain structure, one may be able to make it work great. This microphone is designed for singing and speaking. It sounds phenomenal! It also carries a three year warranty on the cable!! Please do not hesitate to contact me if I may be of furhter assistance regarding this or any other matter. RE: Lizpro-tan for AKG - Posted by: Mark Ellis on 4/11/2011 |
| Thank you for your recent question! One will need to define the "T3" connector for this AKG body pack. AKG has two different types of connectors on their body packs. I researched your particular pack and the "T3" designation applies. Please do not hesitate to contact me if I may assist you further regarding this or any other matter. I sincerely appreciate the opportunity to serve you! Thank you once again! Mark Ellis 1-800-925-5776 x2039 |

RE: Chameleon LIZPRO-TAN - Posted by: Dory Hornsby on 10/11/2010 |
| In addition to turning the gain or sensitivity on the body pack down, take a look at the channel on your mixer that the receiver is plugged into and check the gain settings on that channel. I would SOLO/PFL the channel to see if you are distorting the input and see if turning the gain down would help. If you can't alleviate the problem thru those two stages of gain give us a call. |
