Job Title: Project Manager

General Description:


The Project Manager is responsible for commercial projects starting with the Project Handoff Meeting and ending with a successful Certification of Completion document.  All Pro Sound’s expectations of the Project Manager are systems professionally installed, on time and within the established budget. The Project Manager will coordinate all resources required for each project including both personnel and material to enable a satisfactory completion of each project.  Additionally, the Project Manager will take a leadership role in setting standards and best practices and initiating tracking and reporting mechanisms for projects and programs. It is expected that this position will require a considerable amount of travel.

Essential Job Duties:
  • Attend meetings with salesmen and designers for review of All Pro Sound drawings and plan for projects
  • Maintain job information and contact information from time of initial drawing meeting
  • Conduct initial walk thru of project with salesmen, designer and customers
  • Ensure the project is on production schedule
  • Upon assignment of project, make contact with the customer and provide them your information as primary contact on project
  • Review job site one week prior to job start to ensure readiness for job to begin
  • Responsible for coordinating all site work with on site contact
  • Create job schedule and update weekly
  •  Prepare weekly for the following weeks plan of action for technicians; released plans, site address, contact information and all other information needed to complete the job correctly
  • Daily supervision of job progress through communication with supervisor  and on site visits
  • Attend weekly production meeting
  • Maintain daily logs in regard to progress and issues and risks on site within SRC “team comments” and “PRC Information “ tabs
  • Review project drawings and schematics and assist with conduit riser and wire fill
  • Continually monitor time constraints and fill out change orders that will increase job completion date
  • Make sure all change orders are signed and received by office staff before any work on change orders begins (includes time change orders and monetary change orders)
  • Coordinate equipment ordering with designer and salesmen to ensure arrival by installation date
  • Anticipate issues and equipment that will be needed a minimum of three weeks in advance
  • Assume responsibility for all on site work and coordinate with other trades
  • Coordinate all special assemblies, rigging and hardware required for project
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and lodging expenses for technicians to ensure cost effectiveness
  • Work with crews on job site to ensure productivity and quality control
  • Communicate issues and changes in the field back to the designer to assure RFI’s and/or change orders are properly executed
  • Coordinate all necessary final meetings and training sessions with site contact and all necessary attendees to ensure completion date and prompt final payment
  • Sign off on all close out documentation (Certificate of Substantial Completion,  Initial Inspection Punch List, Final Inspection Punch List, Certificate of Operational Training and Certificate of System Warranty)
  • Ensure designer gets as-builts regularly so designer can get to drafting for updates to the drawings
  • Review expenses as needed (including American Express) and coordinate with salesmen and designer weekly
  • Responsible for coordinating necessary attendees for first service
  • Assist designer with the coordination of tuning the system
  • Return final As-built drawings to designer
  • Must have clean driving record and ability to pass background checks and drug tests for project security clearance at all times as requested by customers and clients

Education and Experience:


The Project Manager shall possess a Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years industry experience and 3 years of supervisory experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience needed to successfully perform the essential duties of this position.  CTS or CTS-I and PMP are preferred.

Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, use hands and fingers, reach and push with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to sit, climb and balance.  Work requires ability to perform job duties on scaffolding, ladders and at various heights as well as extensive overhead motion required in order to install equipment. General Description: 

The Installation Technician will install audio, video, and lighting integrated systems in commercial venues, houses of worship, governmental buildings and businesses throughout the country while working as a productive team member to meet established project design and deadlines.

Essential Job Duties:  
  • Ability to follow directions given by the Lead Technician or Project Manager to ensure proper scope of work
  • Proficient in the ability to read and decipher blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools
  • Considerable skill in soldering techniques
  • Strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills
  • Ability to quickly process information, prioritize job tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience with various techniques used in pulling wire and cable
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively within a team
  • Responsible for reporting on-site risks and issues to the Lead Technician to ensure efficient resolution and comply with project time-line and budget
  • Responsible for keeping track of personal timecard which includes clocking in and out of the correct job assignment
  • Drive our company vehicles which requires a DOT commercial driver's medical certificate

    This key position for a 40-year-old, growing organization will report directly to our Chief Financial Officer and be a part of our leadership team that meets weekly to monitor performance and help craft our future strategic direction.  The selected candidate will have frequent interaction with All Pro’s President to help analyze key performance metrics and to measure those versus industry trends.  Additionally, this individual will be responsible for the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and construction accounting for our company.  

    Essential Job Duties:
    • Manage our work in job process completion percentage in accordance with GAAP for placement into the company’s monthly Profit & Loss Statement and Balance Sheet
    • Modify and streamline company’s process to provide management with more accurate job costing information associated with Job Estimation and Work in Process (WIP)
    • Perform all treasury management functions including cash management and forecasting
    • Manage the company’s insurance risk management
    • Responsibility for management of our payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, & contract management functions    
    • In conjunction with HR, process payments and recording of transactions related to our employee benefit plans
    • Prepare annual budgets and regular forecasting to update management on the current forecast compared to budgeted expectations
    • Ensure the completeness of and manage the process for all tax compliance reporting
    • Record recurring monthly GL adjustments as prepared and/or reviewed by CFO (accruals, depreciation, payrolls, etc.)
    • Handle communications via all mediums regarding disputes, questions, or updates for various inquiries received (i.e. IRS notices, sales tax notices, employment verifications, payroll data)   
    • Function as the point person for annual audit of workers’ compensation and general liability insurance, plus other company audits by researching and compiling information for review
    • Prepare confidential documents for secure storage (bank, checking, payroll, 401k, etc.)
    • Perform month-end duties (closing the books, preparing and issuing financial statements, etc.)
    • Compile information and prepare financial reports and documents as requested
    • Supervise, accounting and finance staff, provide counseling and training as needed
    • Develop and drive comparative analytics to measure KPI’s

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Minimum five years of experience working in a business using construction accounting principles with an excellent knowledge and application of generally accepted accounting principles relative to completion methods for accounting in the construction industry
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills
    • The ability to supervise and direct the work of a staff
    • Proficiency with computers, MS Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Extensive knowledge of payroll employee benefit compliance and procedures
    • The ability to plan, organize, and implement tasks successfully to meet deadlines
    • Ability to analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions and implement solutions
    • The ability to create and interpret complex financial reports and business documents

    Education and Experience:

    A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA is preferred) with ten years of advanced level accounting/finance experience including:
    • Percentage of completion construction accounting (WIP)

    • Financial Trending Projections
    • Business analytics

    System Designer

    The Systems Designer is responsible for the design of integrated audio, video and lighting systems. The Systems Designer will provide technical input, suggest technical alternatives, and develop cost estimates.     lighting systems.  The Systems Designer will provide technical input, suggest technical alternatives, and  develop cost estimates.  The Systems Designer works closely with the Salesperson and the Project Manager to ensure the project design meets client expectations and that project deadlines and budget parameters are met. The Systems Designer must maintain a comprehensive knowledge of A/V/L systems to develop technical solutions and conceptual design specifications that meet customer requirements.  This position may require occasional out of town travel.

    Essential Job Duties:
     
    • Schedule meeting or phone call with Salesperson within 24 hours of task assigned
    • Discuss project with Salesperson in order to understand complete scope of project
    • Meet with or contact Salesperson to review expected design
    • Set up initial design package in Inxsql within designated time frame
    • Issue Inxsql quote within designated time frame with a “C#” account assigned to it
    • Deliver Inxsql quote to Salesperson via SRC
    • Once proposal is accepted, Designer must be notified with a Letter of Intent
    • Once letter of Intent is received, proceed with project drawings and Technical Scope of Work documents
    • Responsible for meeting with Salesperson and Customer to review and approve prints
    • Send design to drafting for initial draft
    • Red lines done and returned to drafting for corrections, repeat this process as needed
    • Signed contract must be reviewed upon receipt
    • Must have knowledge of any design issue once contract is signed and prior to prints being completed
    • Responsible for completed prints being reviewed and signed off on by Design Manager, Salesperson and Project Manager if possible
    • Attend on-site meeting with Customer, Salesperson and Project Manager as needed
    • Designer must return prints to drafting for “prints release”
    • Designer to request Project Manager to be assigned at production meeting
    • Oversee the ordering of equipment after meeting with Salesperson and Project Manager
    • Responsible for insuring that all designs have “APS release for Construction Drawings”
    • Designer will communicate progress of project with Project Manager and Salesperson
    • Participate in periodic site visits and walk-thru
    • Responsible for communicating any type of quality control issues observed from walk-thru with Project Manager
    • Send and receive direction from job contact via RFI’s with necessary information from Project Manager
    • Coordinate with Project Manager for on-site programming and system finalization and tuning if needed
    • Assist with training customer on the use of the system if needed
    • Attend final walk-thru with Salesperson, Customer and Project Manager
    • Responsible for reviewing American Express bill and all related project expenses weekly and communicating with Salesperson and Project Manager
    • Complete as-builts and close out documents in coordination with Project Manager
    • Coordinate and maintain communication with Project Manager on all phases of the project
    • Must be aware of any and all change orders on the project and assist Salesperson with facilitating the changes
    • Responsible for ongoing training and continuing education to keep current with A/V/L equipment, technical information and design trends
    • Other duties of a similar nature and level may be assigned.

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
